BASc open days
When & where: BASc open days happen online, or in person at our east London campus if taking place on weekends or during the school holidays.
Who’s invited? Prospective undergraduates, their friends and family. Plus, any curious teachers or other individuals who want to find out more about our bachelor’s degree.
What can I expect? These events are a great way for you to get a feel for what it would be like to study at LIS as an undergraduate. During Open Days you’ll meet members of the LIS team, current students, and other prospective applicants. You’ll hear from our faculty about the curriculum, careers offering, and student experience — and have the chance to ask any questions you might have.
MASc open days
When & where: MASc open days take place online, usually during the week around 6pm (GMT) — at the end of the typical working day.
Who’s invited? Prospective students, professionals, or anyone who’s interested in finding out more about our new master’s programme.
What can I expect? Whilst the MASc draws on some shared principles and philosophy with our BASc (e.g., interdisciplinarity), the master’s has an emphasis on practical outcomes — delivering impact in the world of work beyond academic study. Our MASc open days aim to show you what this means in practice. You can expect an overview of the curriculum and involvement of the LIS Network, as well as real examples of the practical outcomes of interdisciplinarity as found in the professional world. We’ll then open up the floor to any questions.
