They’re open to all international students joining LIS from non-UK countries who are offer holders of either (a) our Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Interdisciplinary Problems and Methods or (b) our Master of Arts and Sciences in Interdisciplinary Problems and Methods, for enrolment in September 2024.*
There are 6x scholarships (3x undergraduate and 3x master’s), each worth £5,000, available to international offer holders on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
In your application, you’ll be asked about your achievements, study plans, and reasons for choosing to study with us. Make sure you have enough time to prepare strong answers. We’ll assess your responses and academic merit when making scholarship decisions.

Eligibility
To apply for this scholarship, you must:
- Be classed as an ‘overseas’ student for tuition fee purposes
- Hold an offer to begin the BASc or MASc programme at LIS in September 2024
How to apply
Once you have received an offer, you will be sent a scholarship application form. Please note, scholarship applications are only open to offer-holders.
Submit the following via our form:
- Application number
- National and residential status
- A short essay on a passion project related to any social or global problem. This could be around a project you already have been a part of or a dream project you wish to start

To apply for this scholarship, you must:
- Be classed as an ‘overseas’ student for tuition fee purposes
- Hold an offer to begin the MASc programme at LIS in September 2024
How to apply
Once you have received an offer, you will be sent a scholarship application form. Please note, scholarship applications are only open to offer-holders.
Submit the following via our form:
- Information on your high school and undergraduate qualifications
- Degree transcript(s) and/or certificates(s), where available
- National and residential status
- A short essay on a passion project with emphasis on ‘innovation’ (can be in any stream e.g. social, healthcare innovation etc.). This could be around a project you already have been a part of or a dream project you wish to start.
