Tell us about your current role! What have you been working on?
In my current role I’ve had the privilege to work on multiple different projects from multiple different angles within the organisation. Because OnePlanet is a small start-up organisation, I get to work across Account Management, Sales, Marketing, Consultancy, Tech Development, Strategy etc. We’re working on a very exciting experiment with the Cabinet Office on a National Strategy for the UK currently, we’re also working with local governments in the UK, community groups, national parks, and private companies too. I’ve also been lucky enough to come back to LIS to offer the OnePlanet platform to students working on their projects, more on this to come - watch this space!
Why did you decide to come to LIS?
Because I wanted to do every degree and none of them at the same time. I wanted to study everything and felt that most traditional degrees didn’t offer this.
If you completed an internship, where did you intern? How has this helped prepare you for graduating and your next steps?
I completed an 8-week internship with HS1 in the summer of my 1st year. I was working with the Legal and Procurement Team on embedding their sustainability strategy into their contracts. Great opportunity.
