What are your plans post LIS? Whether that’s a job, master’s degree, travelling or just figuring out your next steps!
I am off to Japan with MORI Building to work on a cool project they are working on - guiding companies to think with an interdisciplinary lens and encouraging collaboration.
I am building a company based on my capstone project that uses software I created to streamline and improve interdisciplinary team formation in response in response to problems companies face.
Why did you decide to come to LIS?
I wanted to study because I wanted to not just so that I could get a degree. I also wanted to do something that I thought would make me genuinely valuable to a company or to myself in starting my own company rather than just studying a subject to get a degree and then forgetting all about it and not using that knowledge ever again.
I thoroughly enjoyed my study at LIS and I also would consider myself much more valuable having studied there.
If you completed an internship, where did you intern? How has this helped prepare you for graduating and your next steps?
I completed internships at Rainbow Energy (VC Analyst, July–September 2023) and Ignite marketing agency (Consultant, September–October 2024).
At Rainbow, I produced detailed reports on 50+ venture capital funds, scheduled and joined meetings with fund managers alongside the C-suite, built presentation materials, and ran competitor research in the home-electrification space—work that strengthened my financial analysis, market mapping, and executive-level communication.
At Ignite, I revised internal training documents to improve ad design and engagement, translating complex data into practical recommendations—experience that sharpened my marketing analytics, experimentation mindset, and ability to turn insights into action.
Together, these internships prepared me for graduation by combining rigorous analysis with clear storytelling and stakeholder engagement. They’ve positioned me well for my next steps in consulting/strategy roles where I can apply data-driven thinking to growth and sustainability challenges.
