BASc: INTERDISCIPLINARY PROBLEMS & METHODS
Your guide to Clearing at LIS

LIS is a small university by design. That means when you join, you're genuinely part of something. You're known by your faculty, supported by your peers, and never just a number.

Limited spaces available through Clearing and direct applications.

COMMUNITY & COACHING

You're not just a number

LIS is deliberately small. With a 13:1 student-to-faculty ratio, you'll have genuine access to world-class academics, dedicated coaches, and a community of peers who challenge and support you throughout your degree.

what is clearing

What is Clearing and how does it work?

UCAS Clearing runs annually from the start of July to mid-October. In 2026, that's July 2nd to October 19th. It exists to connect students with universities that still have spaces available, and to give students a genuine second look at their options.

You might be using Clearing because your results were different to what you expected, in either direction. You might have changed your mind about where or what you want to study. Or you might simply be discovering LIS for the first time right now. Any of those is a completely valid reason to call us.

The process is straightforward: contact us directly, and we'll talk through your eligibility and what the BASc could offer you. If we think you're a good fit, we'll make you an offer on the call.

Why choose LIS through Clearing?

Most degrees ask you to choose a lane and stay in it. LIS was built for people who don't.
