Ash is an interdisciplinary academic, consultant, and visual artist with an MBiochem in Biochemistry, MSc Environmental Anthropology, and a PhD in Sustainability Education. He has contributed to over 30 publications (most of them in a previous name) in diverse disciplines, including evaluation and program planning, healthcare, biodiversity management, design, and sustainability.

Nelly studied her English Literature BA (Hons) at the University of Leeds, taking a particular interest in the Romantics and American literature. She went on to complete her PGDip in Political Communication. Prior to joining LIS, she was in the world of student marketing, working on recruitment, marketing and sales campaigns for clients like EY, Virgin Media, and the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office. Outside of work, she can be found reading, hiking, and attempting to learn the guitar.
