Conversations with Artemisia

Artemisia whispers in silver tones. A plant of thresholds, of dreams and remembering, Artemisia grows where intuition takes root and reason loosens its hold. Long represented in art, and associated with moonlight, Artemisia invites us to listen: to the murmur of leaves, to the images that surface when the waking world softens.

In Conversations with Artemisia, Dr Ash Brockwell creates an exhibition that seeks connection with the living world through encounters with teacher plants, exploring dreamscapes, magic, and intuition. Blurring the lines between poetry, painting, and installation, the exhibition unfolds as a collective experiment in co-creation, as a mycelial network of dreams where knowledge is felt, not taught, and imagination becomes a form of collaboration.

Opening on October 23rd, 2025 at The Gallery, London Interdisciplinary School, Conversations with Artemisia will remain on view through November 2025. Visitors are invited to enter, listen, and take part in the ongoing conversation between the living and the poetic.
