For the Curious: Online Events in April

We can't go out. But we can live stream. Broadcast. And tune in.

From 1st April: Family Dance Workshops with Sadler’s Wells Theatre.  A series of online workshops and activities for audiences to dance along to in their own homes (free) 

2nd April: Brahms Symphony No 1 live streamed by the London Symphony Orchestra (free)

3rd April: Acis and Galatea (2009) live streamed by the Royal Opera House (free)

10th April: Così fan tutte (2010) live streamed by the Royal Opera House (free)

17th April: The Metamorphosis (2013)  live streamed by the Royal Opera House (free)

25th April: Portals of London: Highwalks with London Dreamtime. Head on a storytelling exploration of London, complete with live music. (£2.50)

Regular events

Every day: TikTok have launched their first livestream series, #HappyAtHome, which takes place at 11am AEDT each day and will feature names like Alicia Keys, Tyra Banks, Jason DeRulo, Dr. Phil and Bill Nye. (free)

Every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday-Sunday: DJ sessions with Diplo (free)

Weekdays: Cooking classes with Borough Market (free)

Daily: Baking tutorials with London’s Bread Ahead (free)

DJ D-Nice, best known for DJing Barack Obama’s farewell party and the 1980s hip hop group Boogie Down Productions, is hosting regular dance parties via Instagram Live. (free)
