28th October Discovery Day (Half term)

Event info

Date: 28 October 2020

Time: 10.00am-12.00pm

About the event

We’ll be holding a Discovery Day on Wednesday 28th October. This session will take place from 1o.00am-12.00pm and will be run using Zoom (an online video platform).

Discovery Days are a great way for you to get a sense of what it will be like to study at LIS. Together, we’ll look at a real-world, headline-making problem, such as plastic pollution, childhood obesity, or knife crime.

You’ll also get to find out more about LIS, meet members of the team (including our faculty), and ask any questions you might have.

This Discovery Day is for you if:
– You are currently exploring your undergraduate options at university
– You’re interested in different things, and enjoy studying subjects from across the arts, sciences, social sciences, and humanities
– You want to make a difference and tackle complex real-world problems
