About the event
We’ll be holding a Discovery Day on Saturday 24th April. This session will take place from 10.00am-12.00pm and will be run using Zoom (an online video platform).
Discovery Days are a great way for you to get a sense of what it will be like to study at LIS. Together, we’ll look at a real-world, headline-making problem, such as plastic pollution, childhood obesity, or knife crime.
You’ll also get to find out more about LIS, meet members of the team (including our faculty), hear from a Sprinter about their student experience, and ask any questions you might have.
This Discovery Day is for you if:
– You are currently exploring your undergraduate options at university
– You’re interested in different things, and enjoy studying subjects from across the arts, sciences, social sciences, and humanities
– You want to make a difference and tackle complex real-world problems
