About the event
We’ll be holding a Discovery Day on Wednesday 17th February 2021. This session will take place from 10.00-12.00 and will be run using Zoom (an online video platform). We’ll have 2 Sprint students joining us to talk about their experiences at LIS so far.
Discovery Days are a great way for you to get a sense of what it will be like to study at LIS. Together, we’ll look at a real-world, headline-making problem, such as plastic pollution, childhood obesity, or social inequality.
You’ll also get to find out more about LIS, meet members of the team (including our faculty) and students on our Sprint, and ask any questions you might have.
This Discovery Day is for you if:
– You are currently exploring your undergraduate options at university
– You’re interested in different things, and enjoy studying subjects from across the arts, sciences, social sciences, and humanities
– You want to make a difference and tackle complex real-world problems
